Creating clear, compelling copy that really speaks to your audience and influences their behaviour can be a big challenge. That might be because you’re being drowned out in a sea of corporate ‘noise’ or you need help clarifying your key messages. Or maybe you have issues around structure, style and tone of voice.

Whatever the issue, I can help.

I believe in simple, clear communication – and that companies should talk to us and each other like humans. That doesn’t mean being unprofessional. In fact, many of the most confident, successful companies around today communicate in a straightforward, down-to-earth way that appeals to their customers.

Based in London, I have 15 years’ experience of working as a business writer and editor. I write on a wide range of subjects, from architecture to design, food, recruitment consulting, occupational psychology and natural resources. I have developed particular expertise in accountancy, insurance and law writing.

As I have worked as a journalist, in-house for leading City firms and for contract publishing and PR agencies, I have gained a thorough understanding of the editorial process from every angle, as well as a good appreciation of the sensitivities involved in corporate communications.

Eloise is a great listener as well as writer – so you can be assured that she’s nailed the brief before she starts work. Then she ALWAYS delivers on time, and the results are spot on. What more could you ask for in a business writer, particularly when she’s able to make even quite dry business topics interesting and audience-relevant. She’s extremely impressive and totally professional.
